Steele Von Hoff
A little bit about me.
Steele von Hoff likes to go fast.
I got a
plastic tricycle when I was about 18 months old, which helped me move
fast around the back yard. 20 years later with various national records
I want to be the fastest.
In September 2009 I?m travelling to
Battle Mountain, Nevada, America for an attempt to break the world land
speed record for a pedal powered bike. It?s currently at 134 kmph on
flat with no assistance. My weapon of choice is an ongoing project due
to be finished several months ago ? more info at www.tspeedbike.com
Around
my speed goal in 2009 I will be representing TORQ Nutrition on and off
road at a national level. Despite a few set backs earlier on in the
season, things look as if they?re getting back on track and I am eager
to race at the pointy end of the field.
I joined the TORQ team 2
years ago now, and have won the Melbourne to Ballarat road classic, and
competed at a respectable level in both road and on the mountain bike
scene. The best racing memory would be Wildside MTB 2008 where I placed
5th in U23 and had possibly the best 4 days of my life!
Thanks to TORQ for making this all possible for me, and providing me with motivation and great energy products!
