In 2008 Dan McConnell had his career highlight representing Australia at the Beijing Olympics. Soon after Dan signed with the TORQ Nutrition MTB team, what he hoped would be the next step in developing his career. Dan has had some outstanding achievements in 2009 winning the Oceania MTB Championships and competing in his 7th World Championships. 2010 has begun even better with Dan taking out the prestigious Australian National Championships as well as the Oceania Championships for the second time. During 2010 Dan has dominated the Australian domestic season and will take his talents to Europe once again to compete in the UCI World Cup along with some Swiss Racer Bike cups. During the Australian winter Dan will be competing on the domestic road scene Dan is looking to get a top 20 at the World Championships this year in September.
