I started riding a mountain bike two years ago when I was introduced to the sport by my boss. Over the next two years my passion for mountain biking grew and I started competing in races and producing some surprisingly pleasing results. In April 2010 I made the decision to take riding more seriously. I upgraded my equipment, and set myself goals. I found my enjoyment increasing with each ride, and I realised that my performances were showing potential. In early 2010 I engaged Mark Fenner as my full time coach. Mark has guided me through the last 12 months and has helped me to stay focused on my training as I juggle my work commitments.

At the end of 2010 I started competing in the MTBA Australian MTB Series, which introduced me to a whole new level of racing. During my short time on the circuit I have endured some good times, and some not so good.

In September 2010 I joined the TORQ national elite mountain bike team and am very fortunate to have such great support from TORQ Australia. The CUBE bikes are fantastic to ride and I really enjoy hanging out with everyone involved in the team.
