Kate Potter
Kate Potter is Australian born and bred but on her travels around Europe she found her passion for mountain biking (and her husband & biggest supporter - Ian Potter). Finding her two loves means that Kate now divides her time between the UK and France where herself & Ian run AQR - A Quick Release mountain bike tours.
Kate has been pretty much competing flat out for the past 2 years. After a good 2006 Summer season in the UK, Kate came home for christmas. The idea of competing at home took her fancy so she raced in 3 of the 4 NPS races and took out 2nd place overall in the Elite women. Now back in the UK to race their 2007 NPS and Marathon series, Kate is on top form. She had a podium finish in her first XC race and has won both the 100km Marathon events held so far.
Kate is trained and sponsored by Matt Hart of TORQ Fitness in the UK so we have included Kate as an 'adopted' member of the team.
We will be keeping track of Kate's racing through our news section or you can go to her blog at www.katepotter.net
